Puppies Are Sold

The puppies are all gone once again. It was fun having the little rascals running around, but I am sure another litter isn't too far away, lol. We are trying, cross your fingers, for mini doodles. We tried ai on Snickers with our little toy party poodle Teddy. They would be so cute!

We would love to hear how all of the little puppies are doing, you can post comments on any of these posts to tell us, or just send us an email.

Thanks,
Mary Bright

PS- I hope to have to website updated soon, sorry for all the old stuff up there.

Snow Puppies

We took some of the puppies outside for a while yesterday while it was snowing. I was the cutest thing, they were at first scared to play in it and hid underneath the pourch. Then we called them out and started to run around with them. They loved it, after getting over the whole ,"oh my gosh what is this white cold stuff," phase, lol. I have pictures, and will put them up soon. They aren't very good, the puppies were hard to calm down, lol. They wre very excited.

Letters from Owners...

Here are a couple letters that we have recently received from people who had purchased puppies from us. We love hearing back from people about their families and their pets.

Dear Brights,

I just wanted you guys to know that we just adore Wesley!

He’s such a wonderful, healthy puppy. At 91/2 weeks old, he is crate-trained, he’s already sleeping through the night, he’s mostly potty-trained, and knows several commands—his name, come, sit, down and shake! He’s so bright! The other day we didn’t realize that he needed to potty, and he went in the dining room on the hardwood. He immediately went to his crate, pulled out his blanket and covered up his mess as if to hide it. He’s so smart. We’re doomed!

He’s still the same shape as he was (built like a brick) but he’s so much bigger and curlier. And he’s very playful and loving—loves to play, crawl in my lap and give kisses. Right now we’re just working on the mouthy-bitey stage. (Any suggestions welcome!)

Anyway, He’s a true joy in our lives, and I wanted you to know what a happy house he has. I’ll send pictures once he’s a bit older.

All the best,

Kate and Adam Hand

Dear Bright Family,

My name is Annie and my family adopted a female Goldendoodle puppy from the litter that was born last August 20th. We just wanted to thank you for running such a fantastic goldendoodle breeding operation! Our little Izzie is the best puppy we ever could have asked for. Not only is she a smart but she's great with children and loves all the attention she can get. We have been taking her to Petsmart puppy classes where we are hoping to ultimately train her to be a therapy dog. We know Izzie has the potential to brighten the lives of a lot of sick children in hospitals around the Columbus area. I attatched a few photos so you can see what she looks like now as she's approaching her 1st birthday! Maybe some day down the line I'll be able to convince my parents to get another puppy- I know they are thinking about it as Izzie would love a play mate! Thanks for doing such a great job with the puppies!

Annie Perrine

If you have any stories about a puppy you just got, or puppies that are now dogs,(if they are anything like my Dixie, she is surely an older dog but you would never guess it with her bouncy personality.) please share them with us!

Two puppies left on Saturday. It was sad to see them go, but we are all very happy that they now have wonderful homes with people who will love them and make them part of their families.

Update on Pups

Hey guys, I am getting used to this. Sorry we haven't been posting as much as we should, still trying to figure it all out.

First we have two litters on ground. Casey and Goldie both had puppies.

Goldie had her puppies on the 14th of December. She had 3 boys and 3 girls. All of the puppies are cream. Blondie (we call her both Blondie and Goldie) was bred with Max, our Golden Retriever. These puppies are first generation becuase of the poodle and golden retreiver mix.

Casey also had a litter on December 9th. There were 5 girls and 4 boys. (I think that's right, it may be flip flopped I am at school right now so I can't check.)  All her puppies are cream colored as well. However she has a couple darker colored cream puppies. They are very cute! Casey is bred to Max. Casey is a goldendoodle and Max is a Golden Retreiver. This means that the puppies will probably have more of a straighter/waiver hair than the first generation puppies because there is more of the Golden Retreiver in their background.

Anyways the puppies are growing fast. They are starting to eat dog food that is being watered down- making a growl like substance. We are now in the process of weining them from their moms.
